About the Trip
Explore the rugged beauty and fascinating history of Yukon and Denali on this epic journey. Start in Vancouver and cruise by Zodiac to see the Granite Falls. Then, board the Koningsdam for a three-night Alaskan cruise along the Inside Passage, Tracy Arm Inlet and Juneau. Disembark in Skagway and head to Whitehorse via the mountainous White Pass. The next day, follow the footsteps of Klondike gold rushers to Dawson City, where you’ll take a nostalgic paddle-wheel cruise on the Yukon River. Continue on to Denali to experience an old-fashioned gold dig and tour the vast Denali National Park, home to glaciers, diverse wildlife and North America’s tallest peak. Finish off with a trip to Anchorage aboard a luxurious glass-domed train.

Fjords, harbours and Granite Falls by Zodiac
See Vancouver the way it is best seen – by water – during this 3-hour tour in a Zodiac inflatable boat. Beginning at Granville Island, you'll cross False Creek and follow the coastline through Stanley Park. From your guide, learn about Vancouver's waterfront landmarks like the Burrard Street bridge and the city's most-photographed natural formation: Siwash Rock. Travel through the Vancouver Harbour and on to Deep Cove and Indian Arm, a glacial fjord with a backdrop of steep granite cliffs that can only be seen by boat.

Yukon and Denali: Ocean Views and Majestic Mountains
Activity Level: Moderate. Venture north to explore glaciers, vast tundra and majestic mountains, then travel back in time to the Gold Rush.
Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg to Vancouver. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city.
Day 2
Vancouver – Today is your Extraordinary Experience: A tour of Granite Falls by Zodiac. You’ll cruise through Vancouver Harbour into Deep Cove and further up Indian Arm where you’ll witness the natural fjord leading to Granite Falls. After the tour, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. B
Day 3
Vancouver – Transfer to the cruise terminal and board the Koningsdam for a three-night Alaska Cruise. B

Scenic cruising The Inside Passage.
Day 5
Tracy Arm Inlet and Juneau.
Day 6
Skagway – Disembark and meet your Holland America Journey Host, enjoy a short historical tour along the way to Skagway before an evening group event.

Skagway – Full day at leisure to explore Skagway on your own. B

Whitehorse – Board the historic White Pass train to Fraser, then on to Whitehorse by coach. B

Dawson City – The morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon, cruise the Yukon River on the Klondike Spirit, a nostalgic paddle-wheel boat. B

Fairbanks – Transfer to the airport for your flight to Fairbanks. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. B
Day 12
Denali National Park – Step back in time and pan for gold at the historic Gold Dredge 8, then transfer to Denali. B
Day 13
Denali National Park – Travel to the heart of Denali National Park and take an unforgettable Tundra Wilderness Tour. B

Denali National Park – Full day at leisure to experience the natural beauty of Denali National Park. B

Day 12
Denali National Park, Alaska
After a step back in time to pan for gold at the historic Gold Dredge 8, it's off to Denali for a leisurely three night stay at this magnificent national treasure.
