Day 1
Toronto to New Orleans
Depart from Toronto onboard CAA’s exclusive private charter jet to New Orleans. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your tour director and taken to your hotel. Take the afternoon to explore New Orleans. This evening, experience a true New Orleans-style welcome in the French Quarter and take part in a Second Line Parade. Police motorcycles with flashing blue lights will lead the parade down Bourbon Street. Follow the jazz band in the “Second Line” and join in to the lively music. Later, enjoy an unforgettable dinner of gourmet creole-style food at Arnaud’s Restaurant. You’ll be dining in the Creole Cottage, a private dining room with its own entrance. (D)

New Orleans Food Walking Tour of the French Quarter
Discover the historic restaurants and bars of the French Quarter on a private guided tour that combines culinary delights with historical details. You’ll taste and drink your way through New Orleans’ best eateries, while your guide recommends authentic, must-try dishes. (B/L)
Day 3
Jazz Music in New Orleans
Today, you’ll take a private guided Music History walking tour, and experience New Orleans’ premier cultural gift to the world—jazz—through story, sight and sound. You’ll hear from a historian how New Orleans truly is the birthplace of jazz, which ultimately became the musical foundation for rhythm and blues, rock and roll and more.
This afternoon, explore the city or relax at the hotel.
Tonight, you’ll enjoy a jazz and dinner cruise that’s pure New Orleans. As night falls, you’ll step back into the glamour of the riverboat era while sailing along on the Mississippi River. Eat and drink while you cruise past one of America’s busiest ports. Dance to the sounds of a trio of jazz bands, then escape to the promenade deck and enjoy your favourite cocktail as the city skyline slips by under a canopy of stars. (B/D)
Day 4
Cooking Class and Garden District
Your day begins with a 3-course cooking demonstration led by a New Orleans chef. Learn the cultural history behind some of New Orleans’ most beloved recipes. Enjoy a delicious lunch before travelling to the Garden District on a private streetcar. You’ll walk off your lunch as you wander through the Garden District, New Orleans’ most famous residential neighbourhood. There, you’ll see some of the most magnificent historic houses in the country—many of which have appeared in tv shows and movies.
Later, visit St. Louis Cemetery No.3, a beautiful Catholic cemetery located near the tranquil Bayou St. John. Established as a burial ground for leprosy victims, it’s an ideal place to stroll among the tombs and learn about the burial customs of New Orleans. You’ll hear fascinating and true stories about both famous and infamous people. St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 is also the final resting place of notable architect James Gallier, Storyville photographer E.J. Bellocq and New Orleans chefs Leah Chase and Paul Prudhomme.
At the end of the tour, stop by a café to taste New Orleans’ world-famous beignets. (B/L/S/D)

Airboat Swamp Tour
Experience the beauty of Louisiana’s scenic bayous while on an exhilarating airboat tour. Cruise past bald cypress trees draped in flourishing Spanish moss, and see wildflowers and multitudes of indigenous aquatic plants. Experiencing these bayous is like experiencing the heart of Louisiana.
Big Easy Jazz Tour
Enjoy a fun night of live music on a New Orleans jazz tour. Explore the French Quarter’s lively Bourbon Street and visit two local venues where you’ll enjoy an endless night of swinging and stomping to the syncopated beat that is New Orleans jazz. Sip drinks, dance and enjoy the atmosphere from your VIP seats in Musical Legends Park. You’ll also learn interesting facts and stories about jazz history.
Cocktail Tour
The term "cocktail" originated in New Orleans in the 1830s. Take a stroll through the French Quarter and visit several of the city’s oldest bars and taverns. You'll learn about the history of these establishments and enjoy a signature libation from each.
Day 6
Discover the Libations of the Sazerac House
The Sazerac cocktail gained fame in New Orleans in the 1850s and is served around the world to this day. Now, it has its grandest home yet, The Sazerac House. This is your place to see how the Sazerac cocktail is part of the customs, traditions and culture of New Orleans. Discover the methods used in distilling Sazerac Rye, learn how world-famous Peychaud’s Bitters is crafted and join in on special experiences steeped in the unique character of the city that inspired it all.
Farewell dinner at Tujague’s
Founded in 1856, Tujague’s is the second-oldest restaurant in New Orleans. It’s also the birthplace of brunch and home to America’s oldest stand-up bar. But first and foremost, Tujague’s is the French Quarter’s neighborhood restaurant. Steeped in foodie lore, Tujague’s is undeniably the grande dame of New Orleans dining. (B/D)

Return home
