Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg on your overnight flight to Cape Town, South Africa.
Day 2
Cape Town – On arrival, transfer to your hotel where your room is ready for a seamless start. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (S)
Day 3
Cape Town – Ride the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway (weather permitting) to the summit of iconic Table Mountain. Visit colourful Bo-Kaap and historic Company Gardens. After lunch, travel to Signal Hill for sweeping views. This evening, gather at GOLD Restaurant for your interactive welcome dinner with a 14-dish tasting menu inspired by flavours from across Africa, accompanied by djembe drumming, live performances and storytelling. Day 4
Cape Town: Design Your Day – After breakfast, enjoy leisure time or choose one of two included Design Your Day experiences: a moving visit to Robben Island with Christo Brand, Nelson Mandela’s former warder; or a scenic journey to the Stellenbosch Winelands for a curated tasting, chocolate pairing and gourmet lunch. Day 5
Cape Town – Explore the dramatic Cape Peninsula, including Hout Bay and Chapman’s Peak Drive. At Cape Point, ride the funicular for panoramic views, then visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguin colony. Evening at leisure. (B)
Day 6
Kruger National Park – Fly to Skukuza and continue to Kruger National Park. Arrive at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, an all-inclusive safari sanctuary known for elevated sustainability and community focus. Later, venture out on your first guided game drive before dinner beneath the stars. (B/L/D)
Day 7
Kruger National Park – Enjoy a sunrise game drive in an open safari vehicle, followed by leisure time to enjoy the lodge amenities. Continue with an afternoon safari and sundowner cocktails, then dinner paired with South African wines. (B/L/D)
Day 8
Kruger National Park – Choose an early game drive or guided bush walk. After brunch, enjoy the lodge’s amenities before a farewell dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 9
Johannesburg – Final morning game drive, breakfast and check-out. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and VIP Lounge access before your journey home. (B)

Extraordinary Explorations vacations are organized and booked by CAA Travel (South Central Ontario) Inc. and CAA Manitoba (“CAA Travel”) on behalf of CAA Club Group (o/a CAA South Central Ontario and CAA Manitoba). In the event of an increase in any of the cost factors, CAA Travel reserves the right to increase the price whereby the provisions of the Travel Industry Act shall prevail. Deposit is non-refundable at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. CAA Extraordinary Explorations packages are 100% non-refundable at final payment. CAA Travel service fee for cancellation prior to final payment varies by program. For full payment terms and conditions, please ask your CAA Travel Consultant. CAA Travel reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements (minimum number of participants) or circumstances beyond its control. Please note: Participants must be able to embark and disembark cruise ships and coaches without assistance as well as have a good level of mobility for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging. International transportation vehicles and facilities may not meet accessibility standards.

After breakfast at the hotel, ride the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway (weather permitting) to the summit of iconic Table Mountain, one of South Africa’s most photographed landmarks. Continue exploring the city with visits to the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood and historic Company Gardens. Following lunch, travel to Signal Hill for sweeping views across the city and coastline. This evening, gather for your welcome event at GOLD Restaurant, often described as a “taste safari,” beginning with a lively djembe drumming session that precedes your 14-dish tasting menu inspired by flavours from across Africa. Cape Town
Set out on a full-day exploration of the Cape Peninsula after breakfast, travelling along the Atlantic coast to Hout Bay and continuing over the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive, where sheer cliffs and ocean views unfold at every turn. At Cape Point, ride the funicular to the summit for panoramic views, then visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguin colony. Return to Cape Town late afternoon, with the evening at leisure. (B)

Kruger National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Skukuza Airport. On arrival, meet your guide and continue to Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s premier reserves, renowned for exceptional Big Five wildlife viewing. Arrive at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, an all-inclusive safari sanctuary distinguished by its groundbreaking design, deep connection to the natural landscape, and strong commitment to sustainability and community. After breakfast, enjoy leisure time — perhaps indulge in a treatment at the Earth Lodge Spa, unwind beside your private plunge pool or simply relax on your secluded deck as wildlife drifts past the nearby waterhole.
