Discover the magic of Greece on this 16-day Greek adventure. Start in Athens for city sights including Lycabbetos, the National Archaeological Museum and a Cape Sounion sunset. Explore Plaka and the Acropolis. Journey to Delphi, "The Navel of the Earth," then to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Feel like a local with a Greek cooking and dance class. Head to Epidavros Amphitheater and the Corinth Canal before flying to Santorini for island tours, black sand beaches, winery tours, and Fira walks. Plus, you’ll even take a volcanic island boat trip. Traditional Greek Cooking and Dance Class
With this class, you’ll truly feel like a local. Learn how to make famous Greek dishes like cheese pies, tzatziki and zucchini balls. Try your hand at rolling phyllo dough, a staple of Greek cuisine, before a sumptuous dinner including the dishes you have prepared. Then it’s time to hit the dance floor where your Greek dance instructor will teach traditional dances. Your evening continues with music and dancing, where you can try out your newfound dancing skills. Opa!

Day 1
Depart from Toronto or Winnipeg for your overnight flight to Athens.
Day 2
Athens – Arrive in Athens, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 3
Athens – Travel to the Lycabbetos. Visit the National Archaeological Museum. Watch the sunset at Cape Sounion. (B)
Day 4
Athens – A full-day walking tour of Plaka. Visit the Parthenon and the Acropolis. Remainder of the day at your leisure. (B)
Day 5
Delphi – Drive to Arachova. Continue to Delphi. (B)
Day 6
Delphi – Head to Delphi and the Sanctuary of Apollo. The rest of the day is yours. (B)
Day 7
Olympia - Travel to Gulf of Corinth and stop at Olympia. Enjoy this tour’s Extraordinary Experience: Greek Cooking and Dance Class. (B/D)
Day 8
Nafplio - Drive to Mycanae then to Nafplio. (B)
Day 9
Santorini - Visit the Ancient Amphitheater of Epidavros. Drive to the Corinth Canal. Catch a late afternoon flight to Santorini. Transfer to your hotel. (B)

Santorini - Go on an island tour of Oia, Perissa, Pyrgos and Megalochori, including a winery tour. (B/T)
Day 11
Santorini - Enjoy a walking tour of the capital town of Fira. Experience a Volcanic Island Boat Tour across the Caldera to Nea and Paleo Kameni. Swim at the volcanic hot springs. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure. (B)
Day 12
Paros - Ferry to Paros. Transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore, stroll or rest. (B)
Day 13
Paros - Visit Paroikia, Lefkes village and Naoussa. Stop at an olive oil farm and eat lunch. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. (B/L/T)
Day 14
Paros - Today is yours to explore the island and relax. (B)
Day 15
Athens - Ferry from Paros to Piraeus. Transfer to your hotel with free time before your farewell dinner. (B/D)

Please note: Participants must be able to embark and disembark cruise ships and coaches without assistance as well as have a good level of mobility for walking tours in destinations where stairs and traditional cobblestone streets can be challenging. International transportation vehicles and facilities may not meet accessibility standards.

Day 2
Athens
Arrive in the lively city of Athens where you’ll meet your local tour guide and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner. (D)
Day 3
Athens
Travel to the Lycabbetos viewpoint and take in the panoramic views over the city all the way to the sea. Next, visit the National Archaeological Museum and then enjoy some free time to relax or do some shopping. This evening, you’ll drive along the Sounion Peninsula to Cape Sounion and take in the sunset at a popular viewing spot with an archaeological site. (B)
Day 4
Athens
Today you’ll embark on a walking tour of the Plaka, the oldest part of the city lined with narrow cobblestone streets. Enjoy a visit to the Parthenon and other structures atop the Acropolis to marvel at the Temple of Athena Nike and the carved Caryatids standing guard at the Erectheion. Finish your tour at the Acropolis Museum, which opened in 2009 and is home to more than 3,000 artefacts from the Athenian Acropolis. The rest of the day is to be enjoyed at your leisure. (B)
Day 5
Delphi
From Athens, you’ll drive northwest to the picturesque mountain town of Arachova. Then you’ll continue to Delphi, once known as “The Navel of the Earth” because of its importance in the ancient world. (B)
Day 6
Delphi
This morning, you’ll head to the famous Pan-Hellenic archeological site of Delphi, once home to an oracle who foretold the future. It features the Sanctuary of Apollo, several city treasury buildings and a well-preserved amphitheatre carved into the mountainside that is still used today. The rest of the day is yours to relax, do some shopping or have a meal overlooking the valley and Gulf of Corinth. (B)
Day 7
Olympia
Travel down the mountainside and through the valley filled with one of Europe’s largest olive groves and along the coastline of the Gulf of Corinth. Cross the Rio-Antirion Bridge to the Peloponnese and continue to Olympia, birthplace of the original Olympic games. Visit the ancient archeological site of Olympia where the columns and walls of several temples are still standing and walk through the stone archway into the grounds where the games would have taken place thousands of years ago. This evening, you’ll take part in this tour’s Extraordinary Experience: a Greek Cooking and Dance Class. There, you’ll learn several traditional Greek dances and how to make several authentic Greek dishes. (B/D)
Day 8
Nafplio
Today, you’ll drive to Mycanae, known in mythology as the city of Agamemnon, then to Nafplio which is beautifully situated beside the sea with its castle towering over the town. (B)
Day 9
Santorini
Visit the classical Ancient Amphitheater of Epidavros, with amazing symmetry and incredible acoustics. Drive to Corinth to see the Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel that allows seafaring vessels to quickly pass from the Gulf of Corinth to Piraeus, the main port of Athens. You’ll then catch your late afternoon flight at the Athens airport and you’re off to Santorini. Once in Santorini, you’ll meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 10
Santorini
Today, you’re going for an island tour. You’ll visit Oia, known for its beautiful, blue-domed churches and windmills, the beach town of Perissa with its long stretch of black sand beach and the picturesque villages of Pyrgos and Megalochori. You’ll also enjoy a winery tour and tasting on your tour. Your evening is at your leisure. (B/T)
Day 11
Santorini
Go on a full-day walking tour of the main town of Fira with stunning cliffside views over the caldera and volcanic islands, whitewashed buildings and blue domed churches. Experience a Volcanic Island Boat Tour and enjoy the views as you sail across the Caldera to the volcanic islands of Nea and Paleo Kameni, with a stop for an optional swim at the volcanic hot springs. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure. (B)
Day 12
Paros
Today, you’ll take the ferry to Paros for more breathtaking views at Cycladic Island. On arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore on your own. (B)
Day 13
Paros
Visit Paroikia, Lefkes village and Naoussa on your full-day tour of the island. You’ll visit a farm that produces olive oil and learn about this valuable crop while having a tasting followed by lunch. Next is a short walking tour of the town with the balance of the day at leisure. (B/L/T)
Day 14
Paros
Today is yours to explore the island and relax. (B)
Day 15
Athens
A ferry ride takes you from Paros to Piraeus, the main port for Athens. Transfer to your hotel with free time before our farewell dinner this evening. (B/D)

Transfer to the airport for your return flight from Athens to Toronto or Winnipeg. (B)
