Czech Ceramic Painting Workshop
Express your creativity in this unique Extraordinary Experience: a hands-on ceramic painting workshop led by local artisans. Explore Prague and UNESCO-listed Český Krumlov on an 8-day Czechia tour filled with local flavours, river cruising, castle visits and historic towns.
Day 1
Depart on your overnight flight from Toronto or Winnipeg to Prague.
Day 2
Prague – Arrive in Prague and meet your local English-speaking guide. Enjoy a light lunch at a charming brasserie near your hotel before check-in. Take time to settle in and refresh before gathering this evening for a welcome dinner at a historic landmark restaurant. (L/D)
Day 3
Prague – Travel by historic tram to the Strahov Monastery for a private tour of its Baroque library. Pause for coffee and a light snack at a historic café within the Prague Castle grounds before exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the world’s largest ancient castle complexes. Conclude the day with a scenic walk across iconic Charles Bridge before returning to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a lively folklore dinner featuring traditional Czech music and dance. (B/S/D)
Day 4
Prague – Explore Prague’s Old Town on a guided culinary walking tour featuring a variety of local delicacies. Later, enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Vltava River and visit the famous Astronomical Clock and historic Jewish Quarter. This evening, take part in a hands-on ceramic-painting workshop. (B/L)
Day 5
Český Krumlov – Travel through the Czech countryside to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Český Krumlov and its impressive castle. Return to the town centre to explore the colourful streets and enjoy lunch at leisure. Later, sample local wines before dinner. (B/S/T/D)
Day 6
Prague – Spend the morning discovering Český Krumlov’s medieval streets, boutiques and churches before returning to Prague for an afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 7
Prague – Enjoy a full day to explore Prague independently. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner, bringing your unforgettable Czech journey to a close. (B/D)
Day 8
Transfer to the Prague Airport for your return flight home to Toronto or Winnipeg. (B)

Extraordinary Explorations vacations are organized and booked by CAA Travel (South Central Ontario) Inc. and CAA Manitoba (“CAA Travel”) on behalf of CAA Club Group (o/a CAA South Central Ontario and CAA Manitoba). In the event of an increase in any of the cost factors, CAA Travel reserves the right to increase the price whereby the provisions of the Travel Industry Act shall prevail. Deposit is non-refundable at the time of booking. Final payment is due 120 days before departure. Pause for coffee and a light snack at a historic café within the Prague Castle grounds before exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the world’s largest ancient castle complexes. Discover centuries of history as you explore the former seat of Bohemian kings and Holy Roman emperors. Conclude the day with a scenic walk across iconic Charles Bridge before returning to your hotel. Prague
Explore Prague’s Old Town on a guided walking tour highlighting the city’s rich history and culinary traditions. Sample a variety of local delicacies, from savoury specialties to classic sweets, while uncovering hidden corners throughout the city. Later, enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Vltava River for a different perspective of Prague’s striking architecture. Visit the famous Astronomical Clock and stroll through the historic Jewish Quarter, home to one of Europe’s oldest Jewish communities. This evening features a special Extraordinary Experience: a hands-on ceramic-painting workshop. (B/L)

Český Krumlov
Travel through the Czech countryside to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Český Krumlov. Visit the impressive Český Krumlov Castle, one of Europe’s finest Baroque residences, overlooking the town from above. Enjoy a light snack and refreshment before returning to the town centre, where there is time to explore the colourful streets and enjoy lunch at leisure. Later this afternoon, sample exceptional local vintages during a wine tasting before dinner. (B/S/T/D)

Prague
Discover Český Krumlov’s historic town centre, a captivating maze of cobblestoned pedestrian streets lined with medieval buildings, charming houses, boutiques, cafés and picturesque churches. This afternoon, return to Prague with the rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Today is free to experience Prague independently. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner, bringing your unforgettable Czech journey to a close. (B/D)
